The TPS53647 is a high-current multi-phase buck controller. This device features built-in non-volatile memory (NVM) and a PMBus interface. This product is compatible with the NexFET power stage (CSD95372BQ5MC). The TPS53647 offers 8-bit start-up voltage selection, with an output voltage range from 0.5V to 2.5V and a step size as low as 5mV, making it ideal for high-current applications requiring precise output voltage settings. It has advanced features such as the D-CAP+ architecture, supporting undershoot rejection (USR) and overshoot rejection (OSR) for fast transient response, minimal output capacitance, and high efficiency. The TPS53647 also provides a new phase interleaving strategy and dynamic phase shedding function, effectively improving efficiency under light-load conditions. Additionally, the TPS53647 supports the PMBus communication interface, suitable for telemetry systems of voltage, current, power, temperature, and fault conditions. Some configurations can be set via pin settings or PMBus programming and stored in the non-volatile memory, minimizing the number of external components. The TPS53647 comes in a space-saving, thermally enhanced 40-pin QFN package, with a rated operating temperature range from -40°C to 125°C.
