Introduction
The TPS1H000-Q1 is a fully protected single-channel high-side power switch with an integrated 1000mΩ NMOS power FET. Adjustable current limiting improves system reliability by limiting inrush or overload currents. High-accuracy current limiting enhances overload protection, simplifying leading-edge power supply design. Additional configurable features beyond current limiting provide design flexibility in terms of functionality, cost, and thermal dissipation. The device supports comprehensive diagnostics via digital status output. Open-load detection is available in both ON and OFF states. The device operates with or without an MCU. "Standalone" mode enables use of the device in isolated systems.

- Qualified for automotive applications with the following AEC-Q100 results:
- Device temperature grade 1: ambient operating temperature range of -40°C to 125°C
- Device HBM ESD classification level H2
- Device CDM ESD classification level C4B
- Single-channel 1000mΩ smart high-side switch
- Wide operating voltage: 3.4V – 40V
- Low standby current: < 500nA
- Adjustable current limit (via external resistor)
- ≥ 50mA: ±15%
- ≥ 300mA: ±10%
- Configurable behavior after current limit:
- "Hold" mode
- "Latch" mode (with adjustable delay time)
- "Auto-retry" mode
- Supports standalone operation (no MCU required)

- GND short circuit and overload
- Thermal shutdown and thermal oscillation
- Negative voltage clamp for inductive loads
