Introduction
The TIC10024-Q1 is an advanced Multi-Switch Detection Interface (MSDI) device used to detect the states of external switches in 12V automotive systems. The TIC10024-Q1 is equipped with a comparator with adjustable thresholds, which can monitor digital switches independently of the MCU. This device monitors up to 24 direct switch inputs, and 10 of these inputs can be configured to monitor switches connected to ground or the battery. Six unique wetting current settings can be set for each input, thus supporting different application scenarios. This device supports wake-up operations for all switch inputs, eliminating the need to keep the MCU continuously active and thereby reducing system power consumption. The TIC10024-Q1 also provides integrated fault detection and ESD protection functions, thereby improving system robustness. The TIC10024-Q1 supports two operating modes: continuous mode and polling mode. In continuous mode, the wetting current is continuously provided. In polling mode, the wetting current is periodically turned on according to a programmable timer to sample the input states, significantly reducing system power consumption.

- ±8KV contact discharge ESD protection on input pins per ISO-10605 with appropriate external components
