The OPA361-Q1 high-speed amplifier is optimized for 3 V portable video applications. It is compatible with the video encoders embedded in TI OMAP2420 and DaVinci processors, or other application processors supporting 0.5 VPP video output. The input common-mode range extends to GND, enabling DC coupling between the video DAC and the OPA361-Q1. The TV detection feature greatly simplifies the end-user interface by facilitating automatic start/stop of video transmission. Output swing to within 5mV of GND and 250mV of V+ supports standard back-terminated loads (150Ω). Internal level shifting prevents output saturation at 0V, thereby avoiding sync pulse clipping in standard video circuits. The OPA361-Q1 is highly integrated with internal gain-setting resistors (G = 5.2V/V) and a 2-pole video DAC reconstruction filter, optimized for space-constrained applications. In shutdown mode, quiescent current drops below 1.5μA, significantly reducing power consumption and extending battery life. The OPA361-Q1 is available in a compact 2 mm × 2.1 mm SC70-6 package.
