The TLV320DAC3101 device is a highly integrated, low-power, high-performance DAC with an optional digital audio processing block and 24-bit stereo playback capabilities. This device integrates a headphone driver and a speaker driver. It has a set of built-in processing blocks for digital audio processing. The digital audio data format is programmable, enabling it to adapt to common audio standard protocols (I2S, left-justified, and right-justified) in master mode, slave mode, DSP mode, and TDM mode. The programmable digital signal processing block can support bass boost, treble, or EQ functions. The on-chip PLL provides the high-speed clock required by the digital signal processing block. The volume can be controlled by pins or registers. The audio functions are controlled via the I2C serial bus. The TLV320DAC3101 device features a programmable digital sine wave generator and comes in a 32-pin QFN package.
