Introduction
TC74ACT540FT and TC74ACT541FT are advanced high-speed CMOS octal bus buffers fabricated using silicon gate and double-layer metal wiring C2MOS technology. They achieve high-speed operation comparable to equivalent bipolar Schottky TTL while maintaining low CMOS power consumption. These devices can be used as level translators for interfacing TTL or NMOS with high-speed CMOS, with inputs compatible with TTL, NMOS, and CMOS output voltage levels. The TC74ACT540FT is the inverting type, and the TC74ACT541FT is the non-inverting type. When G1 or G2 is high, the terminal outputs are in a high-impedance state. All inputs are equipped with protection circuits against ESD or transient overvoltage.
