Introduction
VHC00 is a high-speed CMOS quad 2-input NAND gate fabricated using silicon gate CMOS technology. It achieves high-speed performance comparable to equivalent bipolar Schottky TTL while maintaining the low power consumption characteristic of CMOS. The internal circuit consists of three stages, including a buffered output stage, providing high noise immunity and stable output. The input protection circuit ensures the input pins can withstand voltages from 0V to 5.5V regardless of the supply voltage. This device can be used for interfacing between 5V and 3V systems, as well as dual-supply systems such as battery backup applications. This circuit prevents device damage caused by mismatches between supply and input voltages.
