Hangzhou Ruimeng Tech MS1681

MS1681 is a single-channel video buffer integrating a rail-to-rail output driver with 6dB gain and a 6th-order output reconstruction filter. The MS1681 features a -3dB bandwidth of 35MHz and a slew rate of 160V/µs. The MS1681 delivers superior image quality compared to passive LC filter solutions with external drivers. It operates from a single supply ranging from +2.5V to +5.5V with an ultra-low operating current of 14.5mA, making it ideal for battery-powered applications.

The MS1681 accepts DAC output as its input signal, supporting both DC-coupled and AC-coupled input configurations. Internal diode clamping and bias circuitry are available for AC-coupled input mode. The MS1681 also incorporates an internal level-shift circuit, preventing sync pulse clipping and enabling DC-coupled output. The output can drive DC- or AC-coupled single (150Ω) or dual (75Ω) loads. The MS1681 is housed in a SOT23-6 six-pin package with ESD protection up to 8KV.

The MS1681 operates from a single supply of +2.5V to +5V. In application, the MS1681 functions as a complete filter and buffer for HD video signal decoding and encoding. Compared to traditional discrete component designs, the MS1681 solution reduces PCB area, lowers cost, and improves video signal performance.

The MS1681 integrates a DC-coupled input buffer, a video encoder for out-of-band noise rejection, and an op-amp driver with +6dB gain capable of driving 75Ω loads. The AC- or DC-coupled input buffer eliminates sync compression, bowing, and field tilt. The MS1681 output can also be either DC-coupled or AC-coupled.
