Introduction
These directly heated ceramic-based doped barium titanate thermistors feature a positive temperature coefficient and are primarily used for inrush current limiting and overload protection. Their construction consists of a ceramic disc soldered between two tin-plated CCS leads, coated with a high-temperature silicone varnish compliant with UL 94 V-0. One side of the body is marked with the trademark, cold resistance value, and "EL" designation; the other side bears the date code.
