Introduction
The LM2105 is a compact high-voltage gate driver designed to drive high-side and low-side N-channel MOSFETs in synchronous buck or half-bridge configurations. An integrated bootstrap diode saves board space and reduces system cost by eliminating the need for an external discrete diode.
The -1V DC and -19.5V transient negative voltage handling capability on the SH pin improves system robustness in high-noise applications. The small, thermally enhanced 8-pin WSON package allows the driver to be placed closer to the motor phase, improving PCB layout. The LM2105 is also available in an industry-standard pin-compatible 8-pin SOIC package. UVLO is provided on both the low-side and high-side power rails to protect during power-up and power-down.
