Introduction
The Q45UR controller features a single button for programming sensing window limits. Window limits can be set in two ways: programming two independent window limits, or defining a sensing distance setpoint that is automatically centered within a 5 mm window. For independent window limits, place the target at the desired position to set the first limit, then use the same procedure to set the second limit; when setting two independent limits, the window must be at least 5 mm. For the sensing distance setpoint method, teach the sensor the same setpoint for both window limits, and the setpoint will be automatically centered within a 5 mm (0.2 in) window.

- Selectable output slope: positive or negative as target distance increases
- Wide operating temperature range: -25°C to +70°C (-13°F to +158°F); temperature compensation included on all models
- Rugged design for harsh sensing environments; IP67, NEMA 6P (controller), IP65 (sensor) rated
- Available with 2 m (6.5 ft) or 9 m (30 ft) unterminated cable, or 7/8 in-16UNF or M12 quick-disconnect connector
- Choice of 3 remote sensors: 18 mm threaded barrel in stainless steel or molded PBT polyester, and molded flat-pack housing
- Remote sensor connects to controller via 2 m (6.5 ft) cable
- Input for remote TEACH mode programming of window limits
- Resolution: 0.10 mm (0.004 in)
- Kit includes controller and sensor; components also available separately
- Response time adjustable from 10 ms to 320 ms
