RemotePro® PL - SM - L Series (RPPL) outdoor power systems are designed for applications requiring primary off-grid or backup power to operate various electronic devices. The sealed, weatherproof 11x7x6-inch polycarbonate enclosure accommodates up to two 12V 10AH batteries. The enclosure is secured with hinges and a gasket seal, and accepts a padlock or tamper-evident seal. The enclosure can be mounted on a wall or pole via the included mounting bracket system. The high-quality solar panel, backed by a 25-year power output warranty, can be mounted on poles ranging from 51mm to 101mm (2 inches to 4 inches) in diameter, or wall-mounted using the included bracket kit. Features include an advanced battery charge controller with LVD load control. Some RPPL - SM - L systems include a controller with a built-in POE injector and DC-DC converter, providing 24V or 48V PoE from a 12V or 24V battery system. Other models use a 20A PWM controller with a parametric LCD display. The enclosure features multiple ports for CAT5/6 cables, antenna cables/connectors, or other cabling. The batteries are LFP (lithium iron phosphate) type, offering excellent 80% depth of discharge and a cycle life of over 4,000 cycles. The batteries feature a built-in BMS for a battery service life of over 10 years. Please note that the lithium batteries used in these systems do not include heaters. If the battery temperature drops below 0°C (32°F), the batteries will continue to supply power but will not accept a charge. These systems are recommended only for regions with mild winter climates.
