Shenzhen Nsiway Tech NS2009

NS2009 is a 4-wire resistive touchscreen controller with an I2C interface, featuring a 12-bit resolution ADC. The NS2009 can determine the pressed position on the screen by performing two A/D conversions, and is also capable of measuring the pressure applied to the touchscreen. At a typical operating voltage of 2.7V, power consumption can be less than 0.75mW.

The NS2009 is a typical SAR ADC that integrates sample/hold, analog-to-digital conversion, and serial data output functions. It operates from a single supply with a voltage range of 2.0V to 5.5V. The reference voltage directly determines the ADC input range. The X, Y, Z, and analog signals are routed into the ADC via the on-chip control register selection, and the ADC can be configured in either fast or normal mode. The internal reference voltage is configured in differential mode, which effectively eliminates measurement errors caused by parasitic resistance of the drive switches and external interference, improving conversion accuracy.

The NS2009 data interface is an I2C serial interface compliant with the I2C protocol, supporting standard mode (100K), fast mode (400K), or high-speed mode (3.4M). NS2009 control consists of two command formats: write and read. Write commands are used to input address and command bytes, configuring the NS2009 to operate in the specified configuration and mode. Read commands are used to retrieve ADC conversion data from the NS2009 in order to obtain the relevant measurement information.
