The DRV5013 device is a chopper-stabilized Hall-effect sensor that provides a magnetic sensing solution with excellent sensitivity stability over the operating temperature range and integrated protection features. The magnetic field is represented by a digital bipolar latch output. This integrated circuit (IC) is equipped with an open-drain output stage with a sink current capability of up to 30 mA. The device has a wide operating voltage range of 2.5 V to 38 V and reverse polarity protection up to –22 V, making it suitable for a variety of industrial applications. Internal protection features are provided for reverse supply conditions, load dump, and output short-circuit or overcurrent.
