TI TPS22919DCKR

The TPS22919 is a small single-channel load switch with controlled slew rate. The device integrates an N-channel MOSFET that operates over an input voltage range of 1.6V to 5.5V and supports a maximum continuous current of 1.5A. The on/off state of the switch is controlled by a digital input, which can be directly interfaced with low-voltage control signals. At initial power-up, the device uses an intelligent pull-down resistor to keep the ON pin from floating until system sequencing is complete. Once the pin is intentionally driven high, the intelligent pull-down resistor is disconnected to prevent unnecessary power dissipation. The TPS22919 load switch is also self-protected, meaning it can protect itself against short-circuit events at the device output. It also features thermal shutdown to prevent damage caused by overheating. The TPS22919 is available in a standard SC-70 package and operates over a junction temperature range of -40°C to 125°C.
