Wuxi Maxinmicro MX6505T

Compared to the MX6501T, the MX6505T adds an external oscillator option for frequency adjustment. It is a low-noise push-pull transformer driver designed for compact isolated power supplies. Powered by a 3.3V~5V DC supply, it features an EN control that allows users to shut down the chip for reduced quiescent current consumption. Since D1 and D2 have a 36V voltage rating, this device can also operate from a 12V supply — in this case, a voltage divider resistor network can be used to provide 5V to VCC, enabling 12V-to-12V conversion. The MX6505T consists of an oscillator and a gate drive circuit that provides complementary signals to drive the respective N-MOSFETs. The device integrates two 1A power MOSFETs. An external clock can be used to adjust the operating frequency. Protection features of the MX6505T include undervoltage lockout (UVLO), thermal shutdown at 150℃, and dead-time control circuitry. The MX6505T incorporates a 420kHz internal oscillator, making it suitable for applications requiring higher efficiency and a smaller transformer footprint. The MX6505T is available in a compact SOT23-6 package.
