Introduction
The TLV62095 is a high-frequency synchronous step-down converter optimized for small solution size and high efficiency, making it ideal for battery-powered applications. To maximize efficiency, the converter operates in pulse width modulation (PWM) mode at a nominal switching frequency of 1.4MHz and automatically enters a power-saving mode under light load conditions. In distributed power and point-of-load regulation applications, the device allows voltage tracking of other voltage rails and supports output capacitance ranging from 10μF to 150μF or higher. By employing DCS-Control™ technology, the device achieves excellent load transient performance and precise output voltage regulation. The output voltage startup ramp is controlled by the soft-start pin, supporting operation from an independent supply or in a tracking configuration. Power sequencing can also be implemented by configuring the EN and PG pins. In power-saving mode, the device features a typical quiescent current of 20μA. Across the full load current range, the device automatically enters power-saving mode and maintains high efficiency seamlessly.
