Introduction
OPA859 is a wideband low-noise op-amp with CMOS inputs, designed for wideband transimpedance and voltage amplifier applications. When configured as a transimpedance amplifier (TIA), its 0.9GHz gain bandwidth product (GBWP) enables high closed-loop bandwidth in low-capacitance photodiode applications. The OPA859 is optimized for optical time-of-flight (ToF) systems, where it is used in conjunction with a time-to-digital converter (such as the TDC7201). The OPA859 can also be used in high-resolution LiDAR systems with differential output amplifiers (such as THS4541 or LMH5401) to drive high-speed ADCs.
