Introduction
The LPV542 is an ultra-low-power dual op-amp with 8kHz bandwidth and 490nA quiescent current, making it ideal for battery-powered applications such as medical and fitness wearables, building automation, and remote sensing nodes. The CMOS input stage of each amplifier features picoampere-level bias current, minimizing common errors introduced in megaohm-range feedback resistor topologies such as photodiode and charge sensing applications. Additionally, the input common-mode range extends to the supply rails, and the output swing extends to within ±3mV of the supply rails, preserving the widest dynamic range. The LPV542 also features EMI protection to reduce the impact of unwanted RF signals from mobile phones, WiFi, radio transmitters, and tag readers on the system.
Features
- Wide supply voltage range: 1.6V to 5.5V
- Low supply current: 490nA (typical/channel)
- Low offset voltage: 3mV (max/room temperature)
- Low TcVos: 1μV/°C (typical)
- Gain bandwidth: 8kHz (typical)
- Rail-to-rail input and output
- Unity-gain stable
- Low input bias current: 1pA (max/room temperature)
- Enhanced EMI protection
- Temperature range: -40°C to 125°C
- 3mm×3mm×0.45mm thin X1SON package
