Introduction
The OPA355 series of high-speed voltage-feedback CMOS operational amplifiers are designed for video applications and other applications requiring wide bandwidth. The OPA355 series devices are unity-gain stable and can drive large output currents. In addition, the OPAx355 series also features a digital shutdown (enable) function. This feature provides power-saving during idle periods and places the output in a high-impedance state to support output multiplexing. The differential gain is 0.02%, and the differential phase is 0.05°. The quiescent current per channel is 8.3 mA. The OPAx355 is optimized for operation from single or dual supplies as low as 2.5 V (±1.25 V) and up to 5.5 V (±2.75 V). The lower limit of the common-mode input range of the OPAx355 series devices can extend 100 mV below ground, and the upper limit can extend 1.5 V above V+. The output swing is within 100 mV of the supply rails, supporting a wide dynamic range. The OPAx355 series is available in single-channel (SOT-23-6 and SO-8), dual-channel (VSSOP-10), and triple-channel (TSSOP-14 and SO-14) versions. The multi-channel versions have fully independent circuits to minimize crosstalk and eliminate interaction completely. All packages are specified for operation from -40°C to +125°C.
