Introduction
The MSP430 ULP FRAM platform combines unique embedded FRAM with an overall ultra-low-power system architecture, enabling innovators to increase performance with a lower energy budget. FRAM technology combines the speed, flexibility, and durability of SRAM with the stability and reliability of flash memory at a much lower power consumption. The MSP430 ULP FRAM product family consists of a variety of devices with FRAM, a ULP 16-bit MSP430 CPU, and intelligent peripherals, suitable for a wide range of applications. The ULP architecture features seven low-power modes, all of which are optimized to achieve long battery life in energy-constrained applications.
