Introduction
CSG14K_CSG8K is a high-speed CMOS image sensor family developed for machine vision and video applications. The image array consists of 3.2μm pipelined global shutter pixels, allowing exposure during readout while performing true CDS (Correlated Double Sampling) operation. The image sensor features 16 LVDS data output channels. Each output channel operates at up to 1.25 Gbit/s, achieving frame rates of 140 fps (CSG14K) or 231 fps (CSG8K) at full resolution. Higher frame rates can be achieved in row windowing or row sub-sampling mode. All these modes are programmable via the SPI interface. All internal exposure and readout timing is generated by a programmable on-chip sequencer. External triggering and exposure programming are also supported. Extended optical dynamic range is achievable through dual-exposure HDR mode. The image sensor also integrates a black level clamping function.
