Introduction
The AM-151 amplifier employs a coupler feedback design, featuring a high intercept point and compression point. The use of coupler feedback achieves the lowest noise figure and DC current in a high-intercept amplifier. This amplifier is housed in a TO-8 package. Due to internal power dissipation, temperature rise is minimized. The ground plane on the PCB should be configured to dissipate heat from beneath the package. The AM-151 is ideally suited for applications requiring high intercept point, high-reliability amplifiers.
