The EKMC(vz) series offers multiple types, including standard detection, long-distance detection, wall-mount, and economy versions, suitable for a wide range of applications. Types with a current consumption of 170μA are available, such as the EKMC1600100. A lens-free type is also offered.

• Maximum ratings: current consumption during detection is the sum of current consumption in standby mode and output current.
• Output resistor (pull-down concept) must be selected according to Vout to keep output current ≤ 100μA; exceeding this may cause false alarms.
• Circuit stabilization time Twu is 30 seconds maximum; during this period, output state is undefined and detection is not guaranteed.
