Introduction
LM75BDP is a digital temperature sensor featuring an integrated bandgap temperature sensor and an 11-bit sigma-delta ADC, with overtemperature alarm functionality. It supports two operating modes: normal mode and low-power mode. In normal mode, the device periodically monitors the ambient temperature; in low-power mode, the device shuts down and power consumption is reduced to a minimum.
The LM75BDP communicates with a controller via a two-wire I²C bus interface. It contains multiple internal data registers: a configuration register for storing the device's operating mode, OS operation mode, OS polarity, OS fault queue, and other settings; a temperature register for storing the measured digital temperature value; and overtemperature alarm and hysteresis registers for storing user-programmable overtemperature shutdown and hysteresis thresholds. The I²C serial interface provides 3 selectable logical address pins, supporting connection of up to 8 devices on the same bus.
Features
- Operating voltage range: 2.8V ~ 5.5V
- Temperature measurement range: -55℃ ~ 125℃
- Temperature measurement accuracy: ±2℃ over 25℃ ~ 100℃; ±3℃ over -55℃ ~ 125℃
- Temperature resolution: 11-bit ADC, 0.125℃ resolution
- Interface: I²C-compatible, supports 3-bit logical address, up to 8 devices on the same bus
- Standby current: < 1μA
- Operating frequency range: 20Hz to 400kHz, with bus fault timeout protection
