The FOD3150 is a gate drive optocoupler with 1.0A output current, capable of driving most 800V / 20A IGBTs/MOSFETs. It is well-suited for fast switching drive of power IGBTs and MOSFETs in motor control inverter applications and high-performance power systems. It utilizes onsemi's patented coplanar packaging technology Optoplanar® and optimized IC design to achieve high noise immunity, featuring high common-mode rejection ratio. It is optically coupled from an aluminum gallium arsenide (AlGaAs) LED and an integrated circuit with a push-pull MOSFET output stage high-speed driver.
