Introduction
ULN2003AL is a monolithic high-voltage, high-current Darlington transistor array containing seven independent Darlington driver circuits. Internal freewheeling diodes are included for driving inductive loads such as relays and stepper motors. Each Darlington channel can source up to 500mA collector current. Channels can be paralleled for higher output current capability. The device is suitable for relay driving, lamp driving, LED display driving, stepper motor driving, and logic buffering. Each Darlington channel in the ULN2003AL incorporates a 2.7K base resistor, enabling direct interface with TTL/CMOS logic at 5V operating voltage, and can directly handle data that would otherwise require standard logic buffers.
