Introduction
The TLIN2022-Q1 is a dual LIN physical layer transceiver with integrated wake-up and protection features, compliant with LIN 2.0, LIN 2.1, LIN 2.2, LIN 2.2A, and ISO/DIS 17987–4.2 standards. LIN is a single-wire bidirectional bus commonly used in low-speed automotive networks with data rates up to 20kbps. The TLIN2022-Q1 is designed to support 24V applications, featuring a wider operating voltage range and enhanced bus fault protection. The LIN receiver supports in-line programming applications with data rates up to 100kbps. The TLIN2022-Q1 uses a current-limiting slope control driver to convert LIN protocol data streams on the TXD input into LIN bus signals, reducing EME. The receiver converts the data stream into logic-level signals, which are transmitted to the microprocessor via the open-drain RXD pin. Sleep mode enables ultra-low current consumption, allowing wake-up via the LIN bus or pin.
