Introduction
LMH6321 is a high-speed unity-gain buffer with a slew rate of 1800V/µs and a small-signal bandwidth of 110MHz driving a 50Ω load. It can continuously drive ±300mA without oscillation when driving large capacitive loads.
The LMH6321 features adjustable current limiting. The current limit is continuously adjustable from 10mA to 300mA with ±5mA ±5% accuracy. An external reference current set via a resistor determines the current limit. By connecting a resistor to a DAC to generate the reference current, the current limit can be adjusted easily and instantaneously as needed. Source and sink currents share a common current limit.
The LMH6321 is available in a space-saving 8-pin SO PowerPAD or 7-pin DDPAK power package. The SO PowerPAD package features an exposed pad on the bottom of the package for enhanced thermal dissipation. The LMH6321 can be used within an op-amp feedback loop to boost current output, or as a standalone buffer.
