The NCP1117LP is the low power version of the popular NCP1117 family of low dropout voltage regulators, with reduced quiescent current. It is intended primarily for high volume consumer applications over the 0 to 125 degree temperature range. Capable of providing an output current in excess of 1 A, with a dropout voltage of 1.3 V at 1 A full current load, the series consists of an adjustable and five fixed voltage versions of 1.5 V, 1.8 V, 2.5 V, 3.3 V and 5.0 V. Internal protection features consist of output current limiting and built−in thermal shutdown. The NCP1117LP series can operate up to 18 V max input voltage. The device is available in the popular SOT−223 and DPAK packages.
