Introduction
The ATL43xLI-Q1 is an adjustable three-terminal shunt regulator with rated thermal stability over the applicable automotive and commercial temperature ranges. The output voltage can be set to any value between Vref (approximately 2.5V) and 36V using two external resistors. The device has a typical output impedance of 0.3Ω, and its active output circuit provides fast turn-on characteristics, making it a perfect replacement for Zener diodes in various applications such as on-board regulation, adjustable power supplies, and switching power supplies. This device is a pin-to-pin replacement for the TL431LI-Q1 and TL432LI-Q1, with a lower minimum operating current, which helps reduce system power consumption. The ATL432LI-Q1 has exactly the same functions and electrical specifications as the ATL431LI-Q1, but with a different DBZ package pinout. The ATL431LI-Q1 is available in two grades, A and B, with initial tolerances (at 25°C) of 1% and 0.5% respectively. The ATL43xLI-Q1 is rated for an operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C, and its low output temperature drift ensures good stability over the entire temperature range.
