TRF3722 is a high-performance direct-conversion quadrature modulator with excellent linearity and low-noise performance. The typical baseband common-mode voltage is 0.25V, enabling seamless interfacing with current-source DACs. This device integrates a PLL and VCO to provide the local oscillator (LO) for the modulator. The PLL and VCO deliver outstanding phase noise performance to meet the most stringent transmit communication requirements. The device also provides an additional LO output for driving other modulators or downconversion mixers. The modulator features a high-gain mode that achieves a typical 3dB gain boost, as well as a low-power mode for applications requiring optimized power consumption.
