Introduction
The TPS3703-Q1 is an integrated OV and UV supervisor or reset IC in the industry's smallest 6-pin DSE package. This high-accuracy voltage monitor is ideal for systems with low-voltage power rails and very tight power supply tolerance margins. Low threshold hysteresis prevents false reset signals when the monitored voltage is within the normal operating range. Built-in glitch suppression and noise filtering further eliminate false resets caused by spurious signals.
The TPS3703-Q1 requires no external resistors to set OV and UV reset thresholds, further optimizing overall accuracy, cost, and solution size while improving the reliability of safety systems. The capacitor time (CT) pin selects between two available reset timeout periods per device and also accepts an external capacitor to adjust the reset timeout. Separate SENSE input and VDD pins enable the redundancy required for high-reliability systems.
The device features a low typical quiescent current of 4.5μA (typical). The TPS3703-Q1 is AEC-Q100 Grade 1 qualified for automotive applications.
