Introduction
The OPA2673 provides the high output current and low distortion required for power line modem driver and test & measurement applications. The OPA2673 operates from a supply voltage of 5.75V to 13V, drawing a low quiescent current of 16.5mA per channel to deliver a very high output current of 700mA. The OPA2673 can support demanding power line modem requirements with a guaranteed minimum output current of 460mA (at 25°C). A power control feature is included to minimize system power consumption. Two logic control lines allow four quiescent power settings: full power, 75% bias power, 50% bias power, and an off mode with active off control that presents high impedance even when large signals are present on the output pins. The two channels of the OPA2673 can be used independently as separate op amps, or configured as a differential-input to differential-output high-current line driver.
