The TMP709 is a fully integrated, programmable resistor-set temperature switch that requires only a single external resistor to set the temperature threshold over its full operating range. The TMP709 provides an open-drain, active-low output and a supply voltage range of 2.7V to 5.5V. The typical temperature threshold accuracy is ±0.5°C with a maximum of ±3°C (at ±60°C to ±100°C). Typical quiescent current consumption is 40μA. Temperature hysteresis of 2°C or 10°C is selectable via pin configuration. The TMP709 is available in a 5-pin SOT23 package. These devices include limited built-in ESD protection.
