Introduction
The A3144 unipole Hall-effect switch is designed using a bipolar semiconductor process, integrating a Hall voltage generator, a voltage regulator operable at supply voltages from 3.8V to 40V, reverse voltage protection, temperature compensation circuitry, a small-signal amplifier, a Schmitt trigger, and an open-collector output. The sensor is designed for south-pole response: when the magnetic flux density exceeds the operate point Bop, the output is driven low and latches until the magnetic flux density falls below the release point Brp, at which point the output returns high. The A3144 is available in multiple packages, including T092S and SOT23-3L, all of which are RoHS compliant.
