Introduction
CTM1051AMG/CTM1051MG is an ultra-compact CAN isolated high-speed transceiver module with an integrated DC/DC power supply, compliant with ISO11898-5 and supporting CAN FD. It provides electrical isolation between the CAN controller and the CAN bus, eliminates loop currents caused by ground potential differences between communication nodes, reduces noise interference, enhances communication reliability, and improves bus stability.
The module converts CAN controller output into differential signals for transmission onto the CAN bus, while converting received differential signals into logic levels for input to the CAN controller, with a transmission rate of up to 5Mbps. The integrated isolated DC/DC converter can share a power supply with the CAN controller of an ARM controller or FPGA, simplifying hardware circuit design. The DIP8 package offers an ultra-compact form factor that effectively reduces PCB area. It is capable of operating in harsh electromagnetic environments with excellent EMI immunity.
