INJOINIC IP6518

IP6518 is a buck converter with integrated synchronous switches, supporting 13 fast-charging output protocols, Type-C output, and USB PD protocol, providing a complete solution for in-car chargers, fast-charging adapters, and smart power strips. The IP6518 integrates power MOSFETs with an input voltage range of 10.5V to 32V and an output voltage range of 3V to 20V, capable of delivering up to 45W of output power. It automatically adjusts output voltage and current based on the detected fast-charging protocol. Typical output voltage and current combinations include: 3V@3.6A, 5V@3.4A, 7V@3A, 9V@3A, 12V@3A, 15V@2.3A, and 20V@2.3A. The IP6518 achieves a buck conversion efficiency of up to 97%. The IP6518 output features CV/CC characteristics: when the output current is below the set value, it operates in CV mode with a constant output voltage; when the output current exceeds the set value, it switches to CC mode and the output voltage decreases. The IP6518 output incorporates a cable compensation function, which increases the output voltage in response to rising output current to compensate for the voltage drop caused by cable impedance. The IP6518 features a soft-start function to prevent inrush current at startup from affecting input power stability. The IP6518 supports Type-C output and integrates various fast-charging protocols. It can automatically detect the fast-charging protocol supported by the connected device via CC1/CC2 or DP/DM, and then automatically adjust the output voltage and current. Supported fast-charging protocols include: DCP (Apple, Samsung, and BC1.2), Qualcomm QC2.0/QC3.0, MTK PE+1.1/PE+2.0, Huawei FCP/SCP, and UNISOC SFCP. The IP6518 also supports the USB PD output protocol. The IP6518 provides multiple protection features, including input overvoltage and undervoltage protection, as well as output overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, and short-circuit protection.
