Introduction
The TLV6208x series devices are compact step-down converters requiring minimal external components for a cost-effective solution. These synchronous step-down converters operate over an input voltage range of 2.5V/2.7V (2.5V for TLV62080, 2.7V for TLV62084x) to 6V. The TLV6208x devices are optimized for high-efficiency step-down conversion across a wide output current range. The converter operates in PWM mode under moderate-to-heavy load conditions and automatically enters power-save mode at light load currents, maintaining high efficiency throughout the entire load current range. To meet system power rail requirements, the internal compensation circuit supports a wide range of external output capacitor values. Leveraging the DCS-Control™ (Direct Control with Seamless transition to power-save mode) architecture, the device achieves excellent load transient performance and output voltage regulation accuracy. The device is available in a 2mm×2mm WSON package with a thermal pad.
