This laser sensor's environmentally sealed housing is only slightly larger than the standard PD45 model, offering full functionality and compliance with IEC IP67 and NEMA 6 standards. It uses a Class 2 laser diode light source and is available in two modes: convergent beam and retroreflective. The convergent beam mode provides a precise, high-energy sensing spot at the focal point, with four focal lengths available. The retroreflective mode features a precise, narrow beam suited for detecting tiny parts at close range, small parts at medium range, and precise detection at long range. The sensing response time is fast at 0.2 ms, making it suitable for high-speed sensing or counting. Operating voltage is 10 to 30V DC, with a choice of NPN or PNP complementary solid-state outputs and cable lengths of 2m or 9m. A model with a 150mm Euro-style pigtail quick-disconnect connector is also available.
