The new XE-G 2.05×1.6 mm package delivers an industry-leading combination of features for this size class, including a large isolated thermal pad, ESD protection, and minimal spacing between the LED die and package edge. The XE-G platform maintains consistency across all colors for critical LED design parameters — including package dimensions, PCB footprint, anode/cathode orientation, light source size, light source position, and ESD protection. This consistency enables effortless reuse of core design elements, such as PCBs and optical components, across a wide range of designs.
