The CAP series are fixed-setting, manual-reset high-limit safety controllers. Contacts are snap-action, single-pole single-throw (SPST), rated at 20 amperes, with models also available in 30-ampere contact ratings. These thermostats are capable of switching pilot-duty loads, and gold-plated contacts are available as an option for millivolt applications. As temperature rises, liquid in the bulb expands through the capillary to an expansible diaphragm within the remote sensing setpoint. Many models are available from stock, and custom designs can also be accommodated. Capillaries are available in copper or stainless steel, up to 13 feet in length, with a variety of capillary armor options for additional protection. They are rugged and compact, offering versatility and long service life. All models undergo 100% factory inspection to ensure proper temperature, continuity, and function.
