Introduction
The Alvium 1800 C series is a high-performance camera module designed for embedded vision system developers. The Alvium 1800 C - 319 features the Sony IMX265, delivering 54.0 fps at 3.2 MP resolution. The powerful Alvium 1800 C MIPI CSI-2 camera series enables embedded system developers to leverage Sony's high-performance image sensors popular in the machine vision industry. These sensors, with resolutions up to 20 MP, deliver excellent image quality and frame rates up to twice as high compared to equivalent Alvium 1500 C models. To operate Alvium CSI-2 cameras on vision systems, Allied Vision provides multiple access modes, including GenICam for CSI-2 Access for camera control via GenICam features, Direct Register Access (DRA) for advanced users to control the camera via registers, and Video4Linux2 Access for camera control through the established V4L2 API and applications such as GStreamer and OpenCV. Lens mount and housing options are also available; additional options can be found on the customization and OEM solutions page. Native pixel formats include RAW8 (GREY), RAW10 (Y10), and RAW12 (Y12) [MIPI CSI-2 (FOURCC)]. General-purpose I/Os (GPIOs) are TTL I/Os with 2 programmable GPIOs. Operating temperature ranges from -20 °C to +65 °C (housing). Power supply requirement (DC) is 5 VDC via MIPI CSI-2, typical power consumption is 1.9 W, weight is 40 g, and body dimensions (L × W × H, in mm) are 26 × 29 × 29.
