The LZ-13 series LVIT miniature linear position sensors are bore-style LVIT linear position sensors designed for applications with strict size constraints and/or requiring an excellent stroke-to-body-length ratio. These sensors are inductive, non-contact devices engineered for space-limited applications such as factory automation or assembly machinery. They feature a nominal full-scale range of 2.5 to 300mm (0.1 to 12 inches) with an outstanding stroke-to-length ratio. The sensors feature a 12.7mm (1/2 inch) OD stainless steel body with a 1m cable for input/output connections. The LZ-13's 4.78mm (0.188 inch) diameter bore provides clearance for a 4mm (0.157 inch) diameter moving target rod with M4 threading and hex nut, constructed from the same material as the housing. This bore-style design also ensures the sensor is immune to damage from typical mechanical over-travel.
