The MLX75023 is a fully integrated optical Time-of-Flight (TOF) camera sensor. Potential use cases include gesture recognition, automotive driver monitoring, surveillance and people counting, robotic vision, and more. The sensor features 320×240 (QVGA) TOF pixels based on DepthSense® pixel technology. This unique design enables background light suppression of up to 120 klux under typical application conditions. The sensor provides high-speed analog signal output, achieving raw frame rates of up to 600 frames per second. It is maximally compatible with Melexis's dedicated TOF companion chip, the MLX75123. Combined with a modulated light source, the system can measure distance and reflectance at full resolution. The sensor is available in both automotive-grade and industrial-grade versions, both housed in a compact glass BGA wafer-level package, offering a wide range of integration possibilities.
