Introduction
The ATGBICS-compatible DS-SFP-FC32G-LW-C transceiver is an ultra-compact 32Gb/s optical transceiver module designed for 32Gb/s serial optical communication applications. The DS-SFP-FC32G-LW-C converts 32Gb/s serial electrical data streams to 32Gb/s optical output signals, and converts 32Gb/s optical input signals to 32Gb/s serial electrical data streams. The high-speed 32Gb/s electrical interface is fully compliant with the SFI specification. A high-performance 1310nm VCSEL transmitter and high-sensitivity PIN receiver deliver excellent performance for Ethernet applications over links up to 10km. The SFP+ module complies with SFF-8431, SFF-8432, and IEEE 802.3ae 32GBASE-LW standards. Digital diagnostic functions are accessible via a 2-wire serial interface as specified in SFF-8472. The fully SFP-compliant form factor provides hot-pluggable capability, facilitates optical port upgrades, and features low EMI emissions.
