LightWare LiDAR SF20/C

The SF20 is a small-form-factor OEM laser sensor that measures distance to objects by timing laser pulses. Its accuracy is generally unaffected by target surface color, texture, or laser beam angle of incidence, and it adapts to variations in ambient light, wind, and noise. The sensor is an open-frame device, sensitive to moisture and EMI. Standard features include measurement of the nearest detected surface (first return) and farthest detected surface (last return), selectable filters for adjusting dynamic response to moving targets, configurable measurement update rate, internal status monitoring, and servo drive for scanning applications. Two communication interfaces are available: serial and I2C. Application software development support is available through the LightWare API library. The laser is Class 1M, eye-safe.
