The Alvium 1500 C is a revolutionary MIPI CSI-2 camera optimized for embedded vision applications. It features an industrial-grade CMOS sensor from onsemi, delivering exceptional image quality and high frame rates. Standardized CSI-2 drivers ensure rapid integration and seamless camera model replacement. Allied Vision provides multiple access modes for operating Alvium CSI-2 cameras on vision systems, including Direct Register Access (DRA) for camera control via registers, and Video4Linux2 access for camera control through the well-established V4L2 API and applications such as GStreamer and OpenCV. The open-source CSI-2 driver is available on GitHub.
