The TLx5012B 2go is an affordable evaluation kit for evaluating multiple derivatives of the Infineon TLx5012B GMR angle sensor, including the industrial IIF interface TLx5012B E1000, automotive IIF interface TLx5012B E1000, automotive PWM interface TLx5012B E5000, and automotive SPC interface TLx5012B E9000. All derivatives provide an additional SSC interface for reading angle values and configuring the sensor's internal registers. The evaluation kit includes a GUI software application downloadable from the evaluation kit product page. The kit comes in 4 assembly variants; the supported PCB is always the same, while the sensor used may be one of 4 predefined models. The evaluation kit hardware is built around the Infineon XMC1100 target microcontroller based on ARM M0, and also includes an onboard debugger microcontroller implemented by the Infineon XMC4200. Sensor power is ensured by the TLE4250-2G tracker, dynamically enabled/disabled by the target microcontroller. Two MOS transistors are used to enable the pull-up resistor (2.2kΩ) and pull-down SPC pulse generation line. The sensor is placed in a detachable area of the PCB and can be removed and placed into the target system. A micro-USB to USB cable (not included in the kit) is required for PC connection.
