A dynamic inclinometer is an instrument used to measure the tilt angle, elevation, or depression angle of an object relative to gravity in non-static conditions. Since motion, vibration, and shock (external acceleration) introduce errors into tilt measurements, dynamic inclinometers (or tilt sensors) typically benefit from onboard gyroscopes and fusion algorithms that combine gyroscope and accelerometer data to correct errors introduced by external acceleration. The TILT-50A dynamic inclinometer series is a high-performance, high-resolution dual-axis dynamic inclinometer incorporating the latest miniature MEMS sensor technology.
